bhavana pulipaka
bhavana completed her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at ashoka university in delhi, india, in 2023. she then moved to dublin to complete an masters degree in biomedical engineering at trinity college dublin, graduating in august 2024. her master’s thesis, entitled ‘developing a cell-optimised dural patch for central nervous system repair’, focused on the design of a pcl-based patch for the repair of the dura mater in spinal cord injury. bhavana then commenced her phD in mechanical, manufacturing and biomedical engineering at trinity college dublin later that year. she is currently a second-year phD student investigating device–tissue interactions in cerebral vascular tissue, aiming to provide fundamental insights to inform medical device development, in collaboration with stryker neurovascular.
